Privacy Act Data Contained in ENGLink

The purpose for collecting and storing personal information in the personal data sheet is to assist Emergency Managers during deployment of individuals to emergency events. Human Resources and Emergency Managers may view your personal information.

Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Notice

Individual health information in the medical data sheet is also subject to the HIPAA. That information will only be used and disclosed in strict conformance with the Department of Health and Human Services HIPAA privacy rule and DoD 6025.18-R, DoD Health Information Privacy Regulation.

Collection is also addressed in ER690-1-321, Staffing for Civilian Support to Emergency Operations. The purpose for collecting information in the Medical Data Sheet
(MDS) is to allow the Medical provider to review your medical condition to ensure that you can perform the job tasks assigned while working long hours, under stressful and sometimes physically demanding conditions without jeopardizing your health. Emergency Managers will use the Medical provider clearance determination to assign tasks and manage staff during deployment to emergency events. Providing information in the MDS strictly voluntary. If you fail to provide the information the Medical provider will not be able to evaluate your medical condition and you may not be selected for deployment.

IMPORTANT BROWSER INFORMATION:You are responsible for the security of your Personal Data Sheet.

Information you enter into your PDS remains active until you exit the browser. If you walk away and leave your computer before exiting the browser, anyone who comes to this computer can access your data by pressing the back button. If this application is still active, someone other than you can make changes to your PDS or collect personal information about you.

To protect the data in the PDS, exit the browser. Exit by pressing the X button in the upper right hand corner of this page..



On initial ENGLink access, all users must login using their U-pass User Name and Oracle password. Once logged in, users should open their PDS and click the CAC tab. To enable CAC authentication, users should choose to Register their CAC and then proceed with validating the CAC. Once registered and validated, users should then log out and then click the Authentication button to login using the CAC.
